Randoms

These are a few random shots from the end of August that I have been meaning to edit.  My boyfriend, cousin, and I went to this old abandoned house and this awesome cliff back home.  I would put more up but I have a couple hundred and I can't decide!

Homework 5

I shot over a few different days.  I had trouble deciding on my finals so I added a bunch.  I shot on a rainy day, an overcast day, and a really sunny day.  I also played around when I was shooting the water fall shots.  I put my shutter on bulb and opened my aperture to f22 to get that smooth foggy effect.  I was really pleased to find that guitar player on the dock today.  I was having a weird day and wasn't feeling inspired to shoot.  When I heard him singing and playing my day turned around and I feel like I got some good shots!

Scanner as Camera...

I wasn't happy at all with my scanner as camera project.  I have been really distracted lately because of someone new in my life and I haven't been putting forth as much effort as I should be.  I do have this one image of my hands that I like because my bracelets and rings all have a special meaning to me.  I am going to re-do my scanner as camera over the weekend.

White Balance Tests

4x4 Project

The 4x4 Project was interesting because it is so true a lot can be told within such a small space.  I chose to shoot my bedroom area because it is such a small intimate area but there is so much going on at the same time.  I decide to do mostly close up abstract shots but I believe the viewer still can get a hint of what the images are.

Kitchen Project

I had fun doing this project.  At first I wasn't really sure how I was going to approach these pictures because the lighting in my kitchen is awful.  That day I bought this small little light bulb fixture for my closet and it actually ended up helping me add dimension to my images and improve the quality.
